org Career Opportunities Performs a variety of responsible public contact and general recreation related administrative support tasks for the recreation center.
Work includes answering the recreation center phone and greeting visitors; answering questions and providing information to patrons on center activities, facilities and rules for room rentals; assisting customers with the online rental reservation system; receiving payments; providing tours of the recreation center and the fitness room; providing instructions on the proper use of fitness equipment; maintaining center office and cleaning supplies; and cleaning and sanitizing the fitness room, equipment, restrooms and sanitation stations.
Work also involves recreation support work such as assisting in the planning and implementation of special events; preparing flyers for events; setting up and tearing down rooms; maintaining programs files and records; and performing clerical tasks of filing, copying, and data entry.
